Bring Tika to School Day

Today I brought Tika to to school.  Tika is my aunts Chihuahua and i brought her to school to show her to my classmates.  Tika is very friendly she loves people and behaves with everyone. I'm very glad i brought her to school today she must love all the love and attention she is getting, I love my little Tika.

The Pet Shop

Yesterday my grandma took me to the pet store by her house.  That pet store has the coolest animals ever. They have dogs, birds, lizards, sugar gliders, rabbits, guinea pigs and they even had a Ring-Tailed Lemur. The Lemur was so cute i was watching it and it was jumping around its cage so i decided to try and pet it. I opened the cage and very cautiously tried to pet it and Lemur started pawing my hand, it was playing but it scared me to death. I freaked out and closed the cage and it was jumping around its cage and playing, it was adorable. There was also a little baby boy chihuahua and it was the cutest and tiniest thing ever! I took it out of its cage and held it and it rested its head on my chest. I fell in love with that dog it was so cute, nice, playful and scrumptious. I wanted it so badly so i asked the lady how much it costs and it was only $275, that is very cheap for a chihuahua. I asked my grandma and mom for it but they both said no, but i will get them to say yes cause it is just too cute to not be mine.
  

A World Without Lies

A world without lies would be amazing! Without lies there would be a lot less drama. There would be a lot less pain, confussion, waiting and anger. Lies are riduculous and pointless. It is much easier to tell the truth than make up a lie. You are going to get into trouble anyways it saves a lot of time to just tell the truth. A world without lying would make the world a much better place.

Ahhh the Cold Weather

I love the cold weather it is so amazing. I love to bundle up with layers of clothing and blankets.  Even though it is freezing inside the school some teachers don't let you have blankets, like coach d and mrs. platon. coach d took my blanket after lunch and i cant get it back til after school. Oh well, I'm still appreciative for the amazing weather. Its my favorite time of year.

Hedgehogs

The other day I saw a special on hedgehogs on Animal Planet and I've been dying to get one since.  They are such fascinating animals and the are so cute.   They are nocturnal and they are not rodents so you can have cats and dogs and they will most likely get along.  It is so cool how they curl up in a little ball and protect themselves. I can't wait to get a pet hedgehog.

Christmas Play

Today my little cousins, Andres and Carissa, have a play.  It is at a church near their school. Last year i went but i missed their performance because i arrived late. Today my brother is going to take me and I'm gonna make sure we don't miss it this time.  I'm really excited to see them perform because I haven't seen them in a long time and they are really funny and cute.

Utah State Project

I did a PowerPoint on the state of Utah for geography. Utah may not seem that interesting but when you know stuff about it you see it differently, Utah is actually very interesting state.  Utah has many good colleges and universities. One of the universities I found very interesting is Brigham Young University.  It offers many degrees and is a private Christian School, it also has good athletics.  Utah is also known for skiing and one of the most famous ski resorts is the Snowbird. Utah seems very interesting i would love to visit one day.

The Cove

There is a move called The Cove that is very sad.  It is a movie about dolphins and their slaughter. What happens is Japanese people scare about 50 dolphins into and area by noise; dolphins don't like noise. They do this a lot over a 100,000 dolphins are killed each year due to this slaughter. Then they cage them in and have dolphin trainers come and choose the dolphins they want for their amusement park. The dolphins that do not get chosen are slaughtered for no good reason.  While these dolphins are in captivity they are forced to jump, dance and do all things their trainers say or they do not get fed. They wait until after the show to feed them a full meal.  This is extremely cruel and there are many people attempting to put a stop to. I never want to go to Sea world again, after seeing this movie.

Physical Education

The other day in P.E we where playing the rat race. You could say the rat race is a form of doogeball. Well during rat race I got hit on my head, back and stomach all at once and I fell and started laughing. Then dominique was running super fast towards the end and tripped. When she tripped she kicked me in the lower back and some how landed 2 feet over me on the floor. Everyone started laughing includeing us and the coach it was a really fun and funny day!

Choir Competition

Yesterday junior high choir went to a caroling competition in Coral Gables.  The set up was really pretty we sang in front of an audience and a huge Christmas tree. We sang many beautiful songs such as; Bidi Bom, Sing Jubelate Deo, Sing O Sing(Christmas version), Hallelujah Fanfare and more.  The Choir competition was very fun I had a great evening with my choir mates!

Science Class

My science class is so fun.  We have a lot of class pets.  We have ferrets, birds, snakes, hamsters, fish, hermit crabs and cats.  We also learn about many interesting topics such as; cells, plants, weather, ocean life and more.  I like our science class very much.

My brother got a car

On Sunday my brother got a Mustang.  His mustang is silver and it has two doors.  It is a very cool car.  One of my favorite things about the car is that it has voice dial.  Another cool thing is that when you open the door it says mustang and you can change the colors, right now he has it at green.  His dashboard also has that feature and it is green and orange (he is a big UM fan). I love my brother's car and I am very happy for him!

Eat Pray Love

Eat Pray Love is a good movie; it is about a confused woman who decides to spend a year traveling.  She does this because a fortune teller told her she would seen be in Bali again with him, also because she was sad about her love life. She decides to go to Italy, India and Bali for a year. She spent 4 months in each place. It is a good and interesting movie.

Thanksgivig Dinner

For Thanksgiving I went to my uncle's house.  They had a lot of family members come to celebrate with them.  For dinner there was turkey, ham, corn bread, garlic bread, stuffing and mashed potatoes. We also had chocholate cake, apple pie and pumpkin cheesecake.  I had a very good time with my family on thanksgiving.

Sea Camp

Sea Camp is a camp where students can go to learn about sea life.  Sea Camp is located in Key Biscayne on a private property.  Some fun activities at sea camp are snorkeling, wading, swimming, fishing, boating, dissecting and playing with sea life.  Sea camp is a very fun destination!
